On the way to Rifugio Sapienza, which is 1.900 meters above sea level, your guide will tell you some interesting facts about the mountain, the highest active volcano on the European continent. Once there, you will enjoy a unique and quite astonishing panorama. Take the cable car and then the moon bus to 2.900 meters, where you will be met by a mountain guide or volcanologist who will take you on a guided walk around the summit crater.
