What to expect

Snowmobiles and reindeer, two things you should experience when in Lapland. Join this tour to a snowmobile to a reindeer farm and obtain your Reindeer drivers license.

At the reindeer farm you will meet the local reindeer herders who will tell you about their herding lifestyle and the reindeer. You will even get to drive a reindeer sledge yourself after which you will be rewarded with a Reindeer sledge drivers license.

To warm up after these thrilling snowmobile and reindeer rides you can enjoy some warm refreshments at the farm before heading back.

What to remember

A minimum of 2 people is required for each option
You need to have a drivers license in order to drive a snowmobile, please remember to bring it with you on the tour
A snowmobile will be shared with another adult
Pick-up is possible within a 10 km radius around Rovaniemi, please indicate your pick-up location upon checkout. Pick-ups will take place from 30 minutes before starting time, please make sure you are ready.
In case you do not choose pick-up please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time

Lapland Wildlife Safari Tour

This trip gives you the chance to see some of the Arctic's residents in an authentic wilderness setting. Elves will accompany you on a scenic journey to the park, the most northerly wildlife park in the world. You'll spot polar bears, Arctic foxes, huge elk, and lynxes, as well as 20 different species of rare bird. Keep your eyes peeled for wolves and wolverines, too. After plenty of photo ops, it'll be time for lunch, followed by a visit to the Fazer Chocolate Shop to stock up on sweet treats.

Rovaniemi Elf Adventure Tour

Set in the heart of the magical forest, this is an adventure for all the family - what's more, it's hosted by Santa's specially chosen helpers. You'll head into the depths of the Finnish forest where all the elves will be busy at work and there to host you and your family. You'll warm up by making handicrafts with Mrs Claus, singing some Christmas songs and turning your hand to cookie decoration. Then, the lumberjacks will be on hand to help find a tree for you to decorate. Afterwards, head out into the snow for fun and games, or snuggle up indoors with a gingerbread biscuit and berry juice.

Rovaniemi Husky Sleigh Tour

This is what a Lapland Christmas is all about. Where else can your family go on a husky trail with elves? First up, you'll learn all about huskies while keeping cosy around the campfire. Then, it's time for a breathtaking sleigh ride. One of you will take the reins while your passengers – a maximum of three people can fit on the sleigh – settle down for the exciting ride.
