Discover Montparnasse, one of Paris' most vibrant and historic districts, starting with a visit to the Postal Museum of Paris. When booking, you can choose between a ticket that includes museum admission only or a ticket that also includes a self-guided audio tour of Montparnasse.
At the Musée de la Poste, you'll take in the exhibitions at your own pace and learn about the evolution of communication, from early courier systems to modern innovations.
Afterwards, continue through Montparnasse, a neighbourhood closely linked to Parisian artistic and cultural life during Les Années Folles, the Roaring Twenties. If you've selected the audio tour option, you'll follow a self-guided route through the district, including the area around the Montparnasse Tower, which rises 200 m above the city.
As you make your way along Boulevard du Montparnasse, you'll pass places once frequented by artists, writers and intellectuals.
