Prepare Italian dishes with the help of Marco Perocco, a personal chef who will be happy to share his best recipes with you!
The cooking class will take place at Marco's home, located in the Ticino Natural Park. You will enjoy the beautiful natural environment and you will have lunch in the wood, tasting food and complimentary beer or wine. You will also have the chance to walk in the woods surrounding the chef's property and try to spot the animals that live in it, like foxes, hares, dormice, wild boars, buzzards, cuckoos and woodpeckers.
This is not a fixed menu experience: the chef will match your requests with the other participants' needs. In this way, you will define which dishes you will prepare (some examples could be: pasta, lasagne, gnocchi, ravioli, risotto, parmigiana, caponata, ossobuco, involtini, cannoli, tiramisù, pannacotta, zabaione).
You will then enjoy a three-course lunch, chosen among different menu options' matching the interests of participants. Before the cooking class, you will agree on the menu with the chef, who will suggest different menu options such as meat, fish, vegan or Italian regional cuisine (Lombardy, Naples, Rome, Sicily, Genoa...). You will use organic ingredients, coming mainly from local farms.
