The inside story
With soft white sand, shallow turquoise water and fragrant pine forests reaching the shoreline, Cala Bassa is one of Ibiza’s most popular beaches. You can stretch out on the sand, snorkel in the clear water or follow the rocky coastline to discover small coves and peaceful viewpoints. The seabed around Cala Bassa is home to extensive Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows, a UNESCO-protected ecosystem that helps keep Ibiza’s waters exceptionally clear.
