What to expect

Discover the artistic and architectural treasures of Florence on a guided tour featuring Renaissance masterpieces, medieval landmarks, and a traditional Tuscan lunch.

Begin with a guided visit to the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's iconic David. You'll also admire other remarkable works by the master, including I Prigioni, San Matteo, and the Palestrina Pietà.

Continue with a walking tour through Florence's historic centre, passing the exterior of San Lorenzo Church and the magnificent Duomo complex, including the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi's Dome, and Giotto's Bell Tower.

Stroll along Via Calzaiuoli to Orsanmichele Church, visit the lively Straw Market, and cross the iconic Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewellery shops. Your tour concludes in Piazza della Signoria, where you'll admire Palazzo Vecchio and its impressive collection of Renaissance sculptures.

Meeting point:

Meet at the corner between Via Ricasoli and Piazza San Marco, in front of the loggiato of Accademia delle Belle Arti. An assistant will be waiting for you wearing blue clothing with Caf Tour and Gray Line logos. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.

What to remember

Know in advance:

Although your tour includes skip-the-line entry, access to the museum may still be delayed during busy periods due to mandatory security checks (including metal detectors) and visitor capacity limits inside the museum
The lunch starts at 12.30 pm at Trattoria da Benvenuto and includes a 3-course set menu. Drinks are not included. For infants (aged 0-5), the lunch is to be paid on the spot
The guided service may be provided in two languages due to operational reasons
Appropriate clothing is recommended to visit places of worship
The order of the visits may change
Access to the Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze is included in the tour price and costs €20 for adults aged 26+, €2 for EU citizens aged 18 to 25, and is free for visitors under 18. Additional fees cover the guided tour and other services included in the experience
To confirm your booking, you'll need to provide the following details for all participants: first name, last name, date of birth, passport or ID number, a valid mobile phone number that can receive calls or messages while in Italy, and an email address you'll be able to access during your stay. If any of the required information is missing, your booking can't be confirmed
In case of late arrival at the meeting point, it will not be possible to join the visit, get a refund or reschedule the guided visit
