Learn about Belfast's political past and the curious Giant's Cave.
Belfast is about two hours' motorway ride from Dublin and the two can be seen in a day.
North of the island you'll visit the spectacular landscape of the Giants Causeway, considered the best destination of 2018 by the 'Lonely Planet' guide. Here you'll have up to 1.5 hours to explore the rock formations that have given rise to many local legends.
In Belfast you will take a scenic bus tour, during which the guide will explain the turbulent political past until peace is restored between the various factions. You'll pass through all the emblematic places: the political murals of the Catholic and Protestant proletarian quarters, the wall of peace, the prison, the court, the Titanic museum, Big Ben or the Tower of Pisa in Belfast and the town hall.
There will be about 1.5 hours of free time in Belfast where you can have a pint at the Crown, visit a curious UK national monument or explore the places you like best.
