Palauet Casades is a palatial building with classical lines, built at the end of the 19th century. It has a rectangular ground plan and is arranged around a central patio with marble columns reminiscent of Pompeian houses.
The first floor was reserved for private use and housed the bedrooms. The ground floor comprised reception rooms, an office, a dining room and a chapel. Francesc Vidal, one of the city's most important furniture makers, was commissioned to create the original furnishings.
In 1923, the Barcelona Bar Association purchased the building and turned it into its headquarters. During the guided visit, you'll have the opportunity to explore its interiors and library, which is internationally considered one of the most important legal libraries of its kind in Europe.
