This gala dinner is a chance to experience an authentic Carnival masked ball with the presence of a dance master. During and after dinner you can learn the basic steps of the dances from the 1700s and the 1800s such as minuets, contradances, waltzes, and other period dances. While seated for dinner, a baroque ensemble will play live throughout the evening. The dinner includes a four-course menu with a welcome cocktail and wine.
The palace of the noble Dandolo was the first place to accommodate the Ridotto, public gaming rooms from 1638 till 1774. It used to be open during Carnival, which lasted several months, and during that time Giacomo Casanova considered the Ridotto as the stage setting and backdrop for his conquests. Now the hall belongs to Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal: here you will enjoy this unique Carnival masked ball!
