What to expect

The journey begins with a scenic drive to the charming village of Kilpisjärvi in Lapland. Upon arrival, you'll be equipped with warm, protective clothing before receiving a safety briefing. Then, it's time to mount your snowmobile and start exploring the frosty splendour of this winter wonderland.

Although the 3-country border is a notable highlight, the route may vary depending on weather, snow conditions, and safety considerations. You might also discover other scenic spots such as Saana Mountain, frozen lakes, or wilderness huts. This adventure prioritises the appreciation of Finnish Lapland's landscapes over speed and traverses terrain from flat frozen lakes to rugged trails.

Regular pauses will allow you to soak up the scenery, capture photos, and switch drivers if you're sharing a snowmobile.

You do not need a car driving licence to participate in this trip
Please dress warmly with a woolen base layer and at least one pair of woolen socks
It takes about 2.5 hours in a comfortable bus to reach your destination in Finland
This trip requires a minimum of 8 participants; if there are less than 8 participants, the trip will have to be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided
The minimum height requirement is 140 cm
This trip may be cancelled at any time for safety reasons; a full refund will be provided in that case
All participants must follow the rules discussed in the safety briefing; participants that endanger themselves or others in any way, will be excluded from the tour without the possibility of a refund
There will be no refunds if you are not at the pick-up location at the agreed time
The snowmobiles are insured with a liability of up to 1,000 EUR; this means that the driver of the snowmobile will have to pay up to 1,000 EUR on the spot to cover any damages they caused. Following the rules set by the tour guides will greatly reduce the risk of accidents
