What to expect

Skip the city traffic and travel to Prague Zoo by steamer boat along the Vltava River. Departing from the Rašín Embankment, between Jirásek Bridge and Palacký Bridge, the regular boat service takes around 75 minutes to reach the dock on Císařský Ostrov.

As you cruise along the river, you'll see a quieter side of Prague that many visitors miss. Refreshments are available to purchase on board, and you can enjoy views of the city's riverside landmarks from a different perspective. After arriving at Císařský Ostrov, it's just a short walk to Prague Zoo.

Once you've finished exploring the zoo, you can return to the dock and take the boat back to the city centre. This experience combines a scenic river journey with a visit to one of Prague's most acclaimed attractions, making it a memorable day out for both adults and children.
