The inside story
Let us introduce you to one of the most beautiful buildings in Bratislava, Slovakia: Primate’s Palace.
This sophisticated pale pink palace is where the Peace of Pressburg (now Bratislava) treaty was signed, which resulted in the conclusion of the War of the Third Coalition. Nowadays, Primate’s Palace is used as the Mayor of Bratislava’s office and a concert venue.
The construction of Primate’s Palace was completed in 1781. It has a neoclassical facade and is now open to the public. Inside the palace, you’ll be able to see elaborate paintings, statues, and chandeliers, as well as a rare collection of 17th-century English tapestries which were discovered during the reconstruction of an English royal weaving factory.
The Primate’s Palace is located in the centre of Bratislava. The building houses the famous Hall of Mirrors where city council meetings and concerts are held.
