Get into the mood for your Game of Thrones tour with short video clips featuring the filming locations in Girona, while your guide introduces the main sites you'll visit.
During the drive from Barcelona to Girona, around one hour away, you'll hear about the town's medieval past and stories from the filming process that brought the series to life in its historic streets.
Once in Girona, you'll walk through the key filming locations and stand in the exact spots where memorable scenes were shot. Your guide will explain how different parts of the town were transformed into King's Landing and what filming was like on location.
You'll then take a short break to enjoy a locally made ice cream created in honour of the series, known as The King's Hand.
After the guided visit, you'll have around one hour of free time to explore more of medieval Girona at your own pace. You can walk along the Roman Walls, visit the Jewish Quarter, and take in the atmosphere of this well-preserved historic town.
At 1.00 pm, you'll meet your guide again for a Mediterranean lunch at a local restaurant. The day continues with a guided visit of about one hour to a carefully preserved medieval village, before returning to Barcelona.
