What to expect

You will start the tour, after being picked up from your hotel, by visiting the Lal Bagh - the superb botanical garden laid out by Haider Ali in 1760 having a variety of old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces and an assortment of tropical and subtropical herbs.

You will then proceed to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace started by Haider Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan. The structure has a substantial amount of wood with walls and ceiling painted in brilliant colors with beautiful carving.

Finish by driving past Vidhan Soudha and end your tour with a visit to the Government Museum.
