Vienna is located just one hour by bus from Bratislava. These are the two closest capital cities in Europe. Both cities have similar roots, as both have been part of the Austro – Hungarian Empire. Empress Maria Theresa has been crowned in both cities, in Bratislava as Queen of Hungary and in Vienna as Empress of Austria. The bus will depart from the Vienna Erdberg Bus Station at 10.20 am and you will arrive in Bratislava at 11.30 am at the Most SNP bus stop. You will have some free time in Bratislava until 12.00 pm.
You will then meet with your guide at 12:00 pm in front of the main entrance of the Park Inn Danube Hotel (just 250 meters from the bus stop, you will just need to cross the zebra crossing). At noon you will start the 1-hour walking tour in the historic city center of Bratislava. Continue to oldest sacral building in Bratislava – Franciscan Church, St. Michael’s Gate and Trinity Church.
