The last GENAU party of 2019 will have as a protagonist a guest who over the years, while remaining on the margins of the mainstream, has been able to build a solid reputation and, above all, a style that perfectly reflects his own vision of what electronic music should be. Anthony Linell was born and lives in Sweden. Many know him for the mysterious alias Abdulla Rashim with whom he begins to produce music in 2011, when "Gizaw", ep of three tracks, becomes the manifesto of a new deep techno, mesmerica, which touches the strings of the mind . In those years Anthony preferred to remain anonymous, decontextualizing his own music from the surrounding environment and at the same time putting it in the foreground, and followed several releases on Abdulla Rashim Records and on legendary labels such as Prologue and Semantica Records.
In 2013, with Varg, he founded Northern Electronics, a label that became a reference point for lovers of what is now called the "Scandinavian scene": up to 2019 it has over 60 releases, of which almost half are albums, with works by artists including Acronym, Ulwhednar (project by the same Linell and Varg), Evigt Morker, Korridor and many others. It is precisely on Northern Electronics that the efforts of Anthony, who from 2017 decides to start producing and performing in DJ sets and live with his first name, are concentrated today. The stated goal is to get out of the comfort zone of contemporary techno, mixing dark and experimental sounds with an obsessive and at the same time crystalline percussion.
To support him in the Main Room will be the resident BLACK CROW, while the Red Room will host the showcase of the Turin-London label Sticky Ground, with the premiere of the guest's live b.mod, together with the dj sets of the two label managers Küetzal and Sancta Sanctorum .
