Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia, as well as the cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative centre of the country. It is famous for its rich history and its unique architectural heritage. The old town centre is dominated by Ljubljana's Castle and divided by the river Ljubljanica. After visiting the city, you will be driven to Bled, which is an Alpine town and one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Slovenia. Its main attraction is the lake at the centre of which is Bled Island. The main building on the island is the Gothic church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. The church has a make-a-wish bell and is frequently visited by newlyweds and pilgrims.

You will admire Bled Castle, which is built on a precipice above the glacial lake and which according to written sources is the oldest Slovene castle.
