You'll get a real feel for the traditions and heritage of Lesbos on this full-day tour. After a quick pitstop by the wetlands to spot some of the native flamingos, you'll head to the town of Mandamados to see artists hand-crafting ceramics at a local pottery workshop. The traditional skills continue at a cheese factory, with the chance to taste a sample. Then, dive into the religious history of the island with a guided tour of the Monastery of Taxiarchis before trying a local doughnut-style delicacy, loukoumades. After that's whet your appetite, it's off to the mountain village of Lepetymnos for lunch at a traditional tavern.
