You'll kick off your day in Lochcarron where you'll soak up the atmospheric scenery before climbing upwards through the dramatic countryside over the Bealach na Ba (Gaelic for Pass of the Cattle). You're sure to have incredible views as the road is the third highest in Britain at over 2000 feet so get your camera ready to snap some of the breathtaking views across Raasay and the Isle of Skye!
Then, it's onto Applecross. Located on a beautiful bay, this area is full of natural wildlife, perfect for nature lovers. Afterwards, you'll stop by Applecross Village to explore before starting the drive back to Inverness. You'll take in the views as you drive along the banks of Loch Torridon and through the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve. This nature reserve is one of the oldest in Britain and is home to plenty of wildlife (you might even spot a golden eagle!). There will be a couple of other quick stops at the villages of Shieldaig and Kinlochewe where you can see what life is like.
