Prepare yourselves for an adventure through flavors and culture, discovering ancient and traditional flavors. You’ll be able to choose from ‘lapredotto’, the most popular dish in Firenze, and tripe. You will then get to try the ‘francesina’, a dish of boiled and sautéed beef with onion and tomato. All this will be served with local bread and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink.
You’ll also get into touch with the history of the last tripe seller family (trippai) of San Frediano, known as the Bambi’s! Over time this great family has distinguished itself as a main supplier of raw materials to many other trippai. Their strength is a fully controlled production process, from producer to consumer.
