With dramatic canyons, natural springs and a huge monolith, Hatta is a desert landscape just waiting to be explored. You'll jump in a 4x4 for an off-road adventure, explore Hatta Dam by boat, visit a heritage village, and round off with lunch at a local farm.
The 4x4 ride to Hatta is a return to Dubai's past. Barren and unforgiving landscapes surround you as your driver manoeuvres through the difficult terrain of sand dunes. Among the landmarks you'll see is the Fossil Rock monolith. You'll also go to a bee farm and explore Hatta Dam by boat. Gliding across turquoise water surrounded by high mountains, it's a great experience.
Next up is the heritage village. It is less famous than its counterpart in Abu Dhabi but it's also less busy, so you can soak up the history and culture without the crowds. To finish off the tour, you'll head for a lunch of local dishes at a nearby farm, where a mountainous backdrop adds to the mystical atmosphere.
