The gods have been kind to Barcelona. Not only does the city boast some of the world's most eye-catching architecture, it's also home to one of its best football teams. And this excursion gives you a chance to experience both. You'll visit the legendary Camp Nou stadium of FC Barcelona and then have free time in the city centre.
You don't have to be a football fan to be impressed by the Camp Nou – its trophy room museum is Spain's third most visited. Other highlights in our behind-the-scenes look at Europe's biggest stadium include the changing rooms, dugouts, directors' seats and press boxes, tucked high in the gantry.
Once you've caught your breath, we'll drop you in the city centre, with around two hours' free time to explore in your own way. Wander along the pedestrianised Las Ramblas, explore the medieval maze of the Gothic Quarter or admire the modernist architecture of l'Eixample– it's totally up to you how to take advantage of the city.
