You'll depart in the early afternoon from Colmar, the heart of the Alsace wine region, and travel along the wine trail in comfortable air-conditioned transport to visit the quaint villages of Hunawihr and Riquewihr. The colorful “half-timbered” houses and Renaissance-style houses with cobblestoned streets make these centuries-old villages truly picturesque.
Make the most of the knowledge of an experienced local along the way, and be sure to take some great photos in the winding village streets lined with flower boxes and fairytale-style facades.
To finish off your afternoon you'll be taken to a winemaker to experience the established methods of local winemaking and taste the results. You'll travel back along the wine route, enjoying the views of the rolling green hills and abundant vineyards to arrive back to the meeting point in Colmar around 5:30 pm.
