Proceed to the New Residence, an impressive statement for the lavish life led by the local prince-bishop. Do not miss the Imperial Hall, the elector's room or the bishop's apartments. Before leaving, visit the Rose Garden and take in breathtaking views of Bamberg. After a pleasant stroll through the medieval Old Town, you will reach the Church of Our Lady, the only purely gothic church in town. Continue to the Island district and enjoy stunning views of the Old Town Hall, built in the middle of the river Regnitz.
