Tom Tits Experiment opens the door to a world where you can choose whether to dive deep into a mixture of creativity and knowledge or simply draw your fingers across the surface.
All that is asked is that you leave “Right” and “Wrong” at the door. Only then can you discover that the boundaries between people become fuzzy, and a new world opens. A world that everyone can create and explore together. Experiments that attract young and old, and everyone in between, are spread over four floors of the building. The idea of the experiments is that you learn something about everything, in particular about science and technology.
Find out what it feels like to swing in Jojon, control the wind in Stormen, or take a ride in Robocoaster, our industrial robot. No previous knowledge is necessary, and most things can be done by anyone, no matter how young or old. You get the chance to use all senses, and many of the experiments you experience quite simply with your full body, by twisting, jumping or bouncing.
Kraft & Rörelse - Permanent exhibition
In the new exhibition Kraft & Rörelse, you can explore amazing technical and physical phenomena that are all around. Use the power of your own body and your creativity to learn about invisible phenomena like magnetism, gravity, and gyro forces. With the help of simple machines, like wheels, levers, and inclined planes, you’ll explore how force is used to do mechanical work.
Kraft & Rörelse will give you an opportunity to develop and test your own technical ideas and solutions, and explore lots of interactive experiments. Hoist, cycle, balance, and spin – and feel the force!
Dinosaur Invasion! -Temporary exhibition is opened from 08/05-01/11 2020
Eight different species, including young dinosaurs and eggs, will stay in the park all summer long. Among others, the exhibition includes the herbivore Brachiosaurus, the flying Pteranodon – and of course dinosaur superstar Tyrannosaurus.
The dinosaurs are developed according to the latest scientific findings. Their teeth and claws are designed according to archaeological finds, their skin after fossil imprints, and their movements, which are controlled by internal engines, have been programmed to resemble reptiles and birds, the dinosaurs’ contemporary relatives. This means both their looks and movements are very realistic and detailed.
Welcome to the science center for the whole family!
