What to expect

Discover the amazing Olive museum Klis, set within the traditional estate of Stella Croatica, which offers many attractions!

Starting from arriving at the experience center Stella Croatica, which is about 15 min from Split, you'll meet your guide. The guided tour will take you through the factory in order to witness the hand-made production of traditional delicacies made of figs, olives, oranges and almonds.

Following the factory tour, whilst walking through the park, you'll learn about the process of extracting essential oils out of Mediterranean plants and how they are used in the production of natural cosmetics. You'll be surprised that this Mediterranean garden contains more than 500 plants! Next, you'll explore the Olive museum, which is on a short list of candidates for the European Museum of the Year 2023 award. Beside exploring the Museum's multiple interesting section, during the special part of the program you will learn how to recognize premium extra virgin olive oil in a fun way.
