Enjoy a 3.5 to 4-hour icebreaker cruise as the mighty ship carves its way through thick sea ice. You’ll be welcomed on board with a non-alcoholic drink and invited on a guided tour to explore the engine room, captain’s bridge, and other fascinating areas of this historic vessel.

One of the highlights is the chance to float in icy waters while wearing a thermal survival suit — a unique and surprisingly relaxing Arctic experience. Weather permitting, you can also step out onto the frozen sea and walk across the ice. At the end of your cruise, you’ll receive a certificate to commemorate your adventure.

The time slot indicated in the order box refers to the starting time of the Icebreaker cruise. The time of the pick-up is indicated in the meeting point section
Walking on the ice might not be available in early winter season cruises due to ice conditions
The minimum height required for the ice floating activity is 140 cm
It is warm inside the Icebreaker. With appropriate clothing, you can also go outside on the deck to experience the Arctic scenery
Your ticket includes access to exhibitions and experiences in the SnowCastle area
If you take the afternoon cruise, lunch is included at the Icebreaker Sampo restaurant
