Once you reach the frozen lake, you'll learn the art of drilling a hole in the ice and the best techniques to catch fish while enjoying the tranquil nature and fresh air. This activity has two possible meeting points:1) Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park Safari Office in Santa Claus Village (Joulumaantie 5, 96930 Rovaniemi, Finland).2) Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 8, Rovaniemi).Please select your preferred meeting point during the booking process. Please arrive at your chosen location at 9:00.

What to remember

Know in advance:

A snowmobile is shared with another adult, single riding is available for a supplement
Children will be seated in a sledge behind the guide's snowmobile. It is recommended that one of the parents sits with a small child for its safety. If a child (over 140 cm) wishes to sit on a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged
Meet your guide at either the Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park Safari House in Santa Claus Village (Joulumaantie 5) or the Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 8). The office in Santa Claus Village is located to the left of Santa’s Reindeer. The City Office in the center of Rovaniemi is located at the intersection of Valtakatu and Koskikatu. Please check in at the front desk inside the office with a member of staff.
Please inform us at least 48 hours before the start of the activity which office you will be arriving at, unless you specified the meeting location at the time of booking.

The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour

Remember to bring:

In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license, you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered
