What to expect

Experience the arctics during this family day out. You will go snowmobiling, visit arctic animals and meet Santa, all in one day.

Your day starts with a snowmobile safari through the Lappish wilderness. Look around the snow-covered forest with frozen trees and snowy paths. During the scenic ride, you will make some stops. First at a reindeer farm and then at a husky farm. During the visits you will learn about the animals, meet them, cuddle them and even enjoy a short ride (500m reindeer and 2km husky).

After the visits, you can enjoy a tasty buffet lunch. Then there is some free time left to explore Santa Claus Village. Feel the Christmas atmosphere, cross the arctic circle and meet Santa Claus himself.

Meeting point:

Meet your guide at the Arctic Snowmobile park in Santa Claus Village. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure.

What to remember

A drivers license is required to drive a snowmobile, please remember to bring yours on the day of the tour
Keep in mind that a snowmobile will be shared with another adult, a single ride is available for a supplement
Children (0-14 years) will be seated in a sledge behind the guide's snowmobile. It is recommended for one of the parents to sit with a small child for its safety
A child over 140cm can be seated on a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged
Please remember to wear warm (wool) underwear, a thick sweater, scarf, mittens, a hat and wool socks
Pick up is possible within a 10 km radius around Rovaniemi, please contact local supplier directly to confirm time and place. Pick ups will take place from 30 minutes before starting time, please make sure you are ready
