Meeting point:

Colosseum access: Colle Oppio Park - Via delle Terme di Tito, corner of Via Nicola Salvi, inside the park. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your tour (look for the I Love Rome logo carried by the staff). Bus tour: The bus tour can be joined at any of the 8 bus stops.

What to remember

Accessibility:

The Colosseum is not wheelchair accessible and may pose challenges for individuals with mobility issues. Moderate physical fitness is recommended for entering the Colosseum

Not allowed:

Bulky bags, trolleys, and glass bottles are not allowed in the Colosseum and no cloakroom facilities are available

Know in advance:

Your access is valid until the site closes on your booked day. Colosseum entry at the selected time is mandatory
Please note that you'll be escorted to the access of the Colosseum, but there is no guided tour included. Kindly note that access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill will be autonomous, as there won’t be any tour escort in that case. Colosseum archaeological area stop is closed indefinitely. Delays, reduced frequency, and route alterations may occur due to traffic and road closures
Heightened security may cause delays at the access to the Colosseum
You can use your access for the Open Bus during the following operational times
From March 15th to October, the bus operates 8:30 AM to 6:40 PM. Last bus 6:40 PM from Termini Station (Stop 1)
From 4th November to March 14th the bus operates 8:30 AM to 5:40 PM. Last bus 5:40 PM from Termini Station (Stop 1)
First bus departure is from Via Giovanni Giolitti n. 32 (Stop 1)

Please note that the audio guide is only included during the bus ride and not during your visit of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill
