Day 1: San Francisco to Monterey
You’ll begin your journey to Monterey by passing through the “salad bowl of the nation”, an area lined with produce stands offering everything from fresh artichokes to strawberries. You might even see the famous super blooms, an explosion of poppies, primroses, and lilies. Once in Monterey County, you’’l stop for a chance to spot some marine life at Elkhorn Slough, known for being a haven for sea otters, harbor seals, cormorants, and brown pelicans.
You will arrive to majestic Monterey Bay at lunch, with a range of activities to pick form, including exploring the coastline with an e-bike tour or going kayaking. You also have the Monterey Aquarium, or historic Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf, offering adventure, history, and delicious clam chowder! After a full day exploring, you’ll head to your overnight accommodation at a nearby hotel

Day 2: Big Sur
You’ll begin your day driving south on the Pacific Coast highway and stop for photos on the famous Bixby Bridge. Depending on the time of year, you might be able to spot some Gray and Humpback whales! Then, move through the expansive greenery of Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, where you’ll see one of the most photographed waterfalls on the Coast, the McWay Falls and have the chance to walk amongst the mighty redwoods.
Afterwards, you will make your way back to San Francisco. Depending on the time of year, you’ll make a stop at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk or in the charming town of Half Moon Bay for a tasty meal (arrival in San Francisco around 9.00pm)
