The gin lab, nestled within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Maritime Greenwich, offers a one-of-a-kind experience where you can uncover the fascinating history of gin and the links between the local gin and the rich maritime history of the area. Dive into the captivating story of how gin has influenced London's culture and society from the 1700s to the present day.
Upon arrival, enjoy a Gin & Tonic while your host tells you all about the history of gin, distillation methods, and flavour profiles. You will sample various botanical distillates to then create your personalised gin recipe. Collaborate with your group and your host to craft your own gin, and then enjoy it in a G&T. Finally, adjust your bespoke recipe and make a full bottle to take home, which you will fill, label, name and seal.
