Linnanmäki is the most popular amusement park in Finland, offering a full day of fun and excitement for the whole family. Linnanmäki has over 40 rides of different sizes. There are plenty of rides available for children free of charge. It also has other attractions, such as arcades, games, kiosks, restaurants, and an outdoor stage on which different performers appear in the summer.
The wooden roller coaster Vuoristorata has been the most popular ride at Linnanmäki every year since its opening 1951. Vuoristorata is operated by Breakmen – sixteen Brakemen work at the roller coaster in the season 2021.
Taiga is a unique ride that was specifically designed for Linnanmäki, and it plays with the feeling of weightlessness and tickles your stomach in a delightful way. This ride has a top hat height of 52 meters, Finland’s longest track length of 1104 meters, and a furious maximum speed of 106 km per hour. In addition, this coaster has two launches and four inversions.
Linnanmäki Amusement Park is maintained by the Children's Day Foundation, comprising 6 key child welfare organizations. The purpose of the Children's Day Foundation's activities is to raise funds for child welfare work. To achieve this, the foundation maintains and develops the Linnanmäki Amusement Park.
