The Clydeside Distillery is a single malt scotch whisky distillery and visitor experience in the heart of Glasgow. The distillery is located in the former Pumphouse building, which used to function as the entry point to Glasgow's famous Queen's Dock, which closed in late 1960s and is now known as the SEC events complex.
The Clydeside Distillery is the first dedicated single malt whisky distillery in the city for more than 100 years. On this tour, you will discover our Dockside story in your time, which includes fascinating tales between Glasgow and the whisky industry, and about Glasgow’s rich heritage. Led by your expert guide, you will then see 4 out of the 7 stages of the whisky production process which are conducted onsite. Witness our craftsmen handcraft our spirit by hand the time-honored way.
Lastly, experience the development of the Clydeside spirit where you will sample the new make spirit then how this has matured in a first-fill bourbon cask and a first-fill sherry cask.
