Our day today is a very active day. The Egyptian Pyramids are very human monuments, although their builders may have not tried to emphasize that fact. At dawn, as the sun rose over the eastern cliffs, its rays caught the pyramids, energizing their sacred precincts with heat and light. Starting the Giza Pyramids tour with The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren and visit the Valley Temple. After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. Move to visit the step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure located in Saqqara. November, 2020, Archaeologists unearthed more than 100 delicately painted wooden coffins and 40 funeral statues.
At evening, watch as the Great Sphinx — the massive statue of a mythical human-headed lion, in front of the pyramids, is suddenly illuminated. The Sphinx acts as the 'storyteller', narrating a history of Egypt and the pharaohs who built the pyramids.
