After being pick-up at the hotel in Bratislava, you will head to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town of Banska Stiavnica on a 2-hour ride.
On the tour, you will see the Gothic church of St. Catherine and the town hall, which was originally a Gothic house. You will encounter the New Castle and the Old Castle and Calvary with breathtaking views. Walk through the Holy Trinity Square and visit a small mine in the city center. The town was the site of the first technology-oriented university in the world. You will see the place and the house where this University was founded. From here, Banská Štiavnica became a center for science and technology development in Europe.
