This popular full-day 4x4 tour will take you into the northern part of Cyprus. You'll visit intriguing spots, including the ancient city of Salamis and the old town of Famagusta, as well as passing by the ‘ghost town' of Varosha.

Your journey into the past starts with a photo stop at Deryneia before you'll pass through the UN buffer zone to the northern part of the island. Pass by Varosha, once a popular beach resort and now a 1970's time capsule. Then you'll have free time to explore Famagusta and see the main sights, including the Venetian castle and the Gothic cathedral turned mosque.

Your journey continues to the ancient site of Salamis. You'll have time to explore its ancient roads and ruined temples as well as the partially restored amphitheatre. There's also time to find a spot to grab some lunch before visiting the tomb of St. Barnabas, the patron saint of Cyprus.

Excursion en 4x4 dans le massif de Tróodos avec mezzé le midi

Passez la journée à sillonner les montagnes boisées du Tróodos et découvrez certains des paysages les plus sauvages de Chypre avec cette excursion en 4x4. Découvrez les vignobles, les cascades, les villages de montagne comme Lefkara, les forêts de pins et plus encore.L'aventure commence à l'impressionnant barrage de Dipotamas pour une pause photo. Dirigez-vous ensuite vers le village de montagne paisible de Lefkara, renommé pour sa dentelle finement réalisée et son argenterie. Nous partirons faire un peu de hors-piste dans la forêt de Mesa Potamos, où vous pourrez également suivre une randonnée facultative. Après vous être creusé l'appétit, un repas de style mezzé vous sera servi le midi dans une taverne de village. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers une belle cascade située dans la forêt, dont l'eau glacée tombe sur 20 mètres. Un arrêt est aussi prévu pour une dégustation de vin, avant d'arriver au village d'Omodos, où vous pourrez flâner dans ses ruelles et goûter à un café chypriote dans un "kafenion" local : une note rafraîchissante pour terminer une journée pleine d'aventure.
