Het natuurpark Ria Formosa is een beschermd ecosysteem dat verspreid ligt over een netwerk vanaf lagunes en barrière-eilanden die een thuis zijn voor een groot aantal wilde dieren - je hebt dus alle kans om zilverreigers, reigers en zandplevieren te spotten terwijl je door de wateren vaart. Je begint aan de waterkant vanaf Fuseta, je kapitein zal je de kneepjes vanaf het vak leren - letterlijk - voordat je leert zeilen langs de lagune, met ook tijd om te zwemmen. Daarna vaar je de open wateren vanaf de Atlantische Oceaan op voordat je terugkeert langs de kust en geniet vanaf de mooie pastelkleurige uitzichten vanaf het dorp Fuseta.
