Embárcate en un emocionante viaje desde Piano Provenzana, situada a una altitud de 1.800 metros en la ladera norte del Etna. Recorre el accidentado terreno en vehículos todoterreno 4x4 especiales, bajo la experta guía de guías alpinos profesionales autorizados por la Autoridad del Parque del Etna. La primera parada son los cráteres «Umberto y Margherita», situados a unos 2.380 metros. Aquí podrás realizar una breve ruta de senderismo por el borde de estos dos enormes cráteres extintos.

A continuación, te dirigirás hacia el observatorio vulcanológico, situado a una altitud de 2.818 metros. Tras bajar de los vehículos, comenzará una breve pero estimulante caminata de 15 minutos. Esto te llevará a la cima del promontorio de Pizzi Deneri, que se eleva a 2.850 metros. Si el tiempo lo permite, te quedarás boquiabierto ante las vistas panorámicas de las Islas Eolias, la costa jónica que se extiende desde Siracusa hasta Taormina, el golfo de Giardini Naxos y la costa calabresa.

Por último, regresará a Piano Provenzana, poniendo fin a su emocionante expedición. Esta excursión le ofrece la oportunidad de experimentar la fuerza bruta y la majestuosidad del Etna, un testimonio extraordinario de la grandeza de la Madre Naturaleza.
